  • Own the user experience of the 7-Eleven app as it grew from 2.1 to 4.8 million active members.
  • Plan and manage a major redesign of the 7-Eleven mobile app, directing a team of six designers and researchers. The redesign consolidates a range of digital products into one cohesive customer journey.
  • Owned the end-to-end experience of 7-Eleven’s Augmented Reality (AR) promotions by working with external development partners and ensuring experiences were usable and engaging to customers. 
  • Leveraged user research to redesign the 7-Eleven app homepage, driving $5.8 million in incremental spend in the first 30 days of the new design.
  • Built UX process from the ground up and mentored new designers as the team grew. Built information architecture and UI guidelines for Fresh, the 7-Eleven design system.
  • Planned, designed, and developed a major information architecture restructure of the 7-Eleven app's coupons and deals, solving customer confusion and bewilderment and facilitating the development of new vendor campaigns and corporate partnerships for 7-Eleven. Results: in-app coupon views tripled. Percent of customers who purchased after viewing a coupon when from 30% to 48%.
  • Redesigned the navigation and architecture of the 7-Eleven.com website based on customer research and business needs.
  • Organized and ran design thinking workshops with Merchandise and Pricing groups at 7-Eleven to help them build and prioritize roadmaps for ongoing digital transformation.

  • Organized and conducted design studios to quickly develop roadmaps and user flows working with various stakeholders.
  • Designed and executed usability tests which identified design flaws. Further testing and prototyping improved Net Promoter score of one product by 70 percentage points.

  • Interviewed and observed users to identify a design pain-point for customers as well as Sales and Support teams. Won over a difficult stakeholder by presenting my findings and designing a detailed solution. My solution was implemented in a future sprint and the amount of company resources spent on the issue was eliminated.
  • Led information architecture for a redesign of customer-facing online Help Center. Using empathy gained through customer interviews, I categorized and organized various help topics. The redesign resulted in 15% less opened support tickets versus the year before.​
